Principal's Message

Hello, Westridge Families!

As we move into the final stretch of the semester, we are just two weeks away from our two-week winter break, and the excitement is definitely building. Please remind students to stay focused and finish strong—all classwork and assignments should be submitted before break, as report cards will be released once we return. This is the perfect time to check grades, communicate with teachers, and make sure all responsibilities are taken care of.

We are also preparing for basketball season. Basketball tryouts will be held on January 7, and all physicals must be uploaded no later than January 6 in order for students to participate. Please ensure all documents are completed on time so students can take part without delay.

As we wrap up these last two weeks, remember: progress is built one step at a time. Encourage your students to give their best effort, stay positive, and believe in what they can accomplish. Finishing strong now sets the tone for a successful new year ahead. Let’s make these last days before break our best ones yet!
Best Regards,

Academic Highlight

Our teachers have been hard at work preparing engaging lessons and activities. This week, we encourage students to actively participate in class discussions and seek help when needed. Please help us to encourage every student to participate in class. Remember, asking questions is a key part of the learning process!

Want to help your student with their academics. Review these anchor charts with your students for a few minutes a night.

A textured pattern borders a series of dark, geometric forms.
Positive attitude means thinking in a hopeful and cheerful way, even when things are hard. It’s about looking for the good in situations, believing you can do well, and treating others kindly and with respect.

Attendance Matters

The words 'attendance matters' are displayed in blue and gold.
We want to remind everyone about the importance of regular attendance. Being on time and present not only supports your academic success but also fosters a sense of community. Let’s strive for a strong start by making every school day count!
