Summer Reading Program
Westridge suggests the Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) books for Summer Reading. Students who choose to read a SSYRA book over summer and write a one-page summary may turn it into the Media Specialist for a prize when school resumes. This will also prepare students to take an AR quiz when they return in the fall.
We also suggest checking out the Orange County Library System's Summer Reading Program and Events at www.ocls.info/srp for cool, free activities all summer long.

Students leaving Westridge and entering high school are expected to complete the summer reading and correlating assignment before school resumes. Please select the link below, for the individual school requirements.
